| The Illusion Garden | Really a Wall? |
Anything is possible with a trompe l'oeil and someone who knows how to create them.
This marvellous technique adds depth and dimension to an otherwise limited view
by tricking the eye into seeing more than is actually there by
manipulating perspective.
Trompes l'oeil (pronounced tromp loo-e) have been used as focal points in gardens, adorned
restaurant walls, created unique touches in homes and added value to real estate all over the world, becoming a talking point wherever they are found.
Using skills learnt through the study of architecture, Gerard has perfected this art of illusion, and is able to create stunning three-dimensional views in spaces as small as 60cms, with no restrictions on materials which can be incorporated into the overall design.
The trompe l'oeil. Space modulation at its artistic best.
